Andrew made some wonderful pies for the Fourth. 2 Strawberry Rhubarb and one blueberry to be exact. We brought the blueberry pie to the family party, gave one strawberry rhubarb to our neighbors, and the other we ate all on our own.
It was delicious, to say the least.
The recipe for both the crust and filling come from our favorite cookbook that I’ve mentioned before.
We really enjoyed the Fourth of July celebrations as well. Felix had a fun time running around the yard with his cousin and watching the small fireworks, too.
We’ll be going to see some larger fireworks in a few days. We’re both excited to see Felix’ to reaction to them.
